Heronswood Restaurant, Dromana



WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
·         Local bread, house olives, Ridge Estate olive oil ($12.00)
·         Broccoli Falafel with yoghurt tahini sauce, pita, apple, yakon and green salad ($23.00)
·         Beef and Vegetable Pot Pie, roast potatoes, and garden greens ($27.00)
·         Lemon Curd Bread and Butter Pudding with ice-cream ($12.00)



WHAT WE ATE...
The menu features heirloom vegetables and fruits grown organically on site at Heronswood. I chose the ‘Pumpkin, carrot, kale and semolina tart, served with garden greens ($24.00)’.


My dining companion picked the ‘Grazing Plate – today’s soup, tamarillo relish, aged cheddar, Heronswood egg and bread ($24.00)’.


For dessert, we shared the ‘Sticky Date Chocolate Pudding with salted caramel sauce and ice-cream ($13.00)’.
