Italy 1, Camberwell



WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
·         Duck Liver Pate with red wine jelly and crostini ($18.00)
·         Gorgonzola, Pear, Candied Walnuts and Balsamic Risotto ($30.00)
·         Spring Bay Mussels with tomato sugo, chilli and garlic ($35.00)
·         Panna Cotta – vanilla spiced panna cotta with tamarillo and pistachio sponge ($17.00)





WHAT WE ATE...
I opted for the luscious ‘Rotolo – hand rolled egg pasta, filled with spinach and ricotta, baked and finished with burnt sage butter ($30.00)’.


My dining companion picked the ‘Eye Fillet 200g – ‘Hopkins River’ Black Angus with slow braised oxtail, root vegetables and jus ($44.00)’.


To go with the steak, my dining companion ordered a side of ‘Roasted Russet Potatoes – triple cooked with aromatics ($11.00)’.


We finished the night with the tangy ‘Torta di Limone – lemon tart with yoghurt sorbet ($17.00)’.


WHAT WE DRANK…
We both chose a glass of the ‘Vallate Prosecco DOC Treviso ($12.00)’…
