As it was a Tuesday night, we ordered the Pizza Night special. I chose the ‘Capricciosa – San Marzano tomato, fior di latte, shaved leg ham, mushrooms, olives, anchovies, roast artichoke’. The lovely waiter produced a flavoursome pizza with a perfect base that was topped with quality ingredients.
My dining companion opted for the ‘Pollo – San Marzano tomato, fior di latte, roast chicken pieces, roast red capsicum, pesto’. This pizza was also a winner with the addition of the vibrant, verdant pesto.
We both decided to enjoy a Peroni with our pizza…
You won’t grow a long nose if you tell your friends that the pizzas are amazing at Pinocchio’s in Kew. The pizzas are made in a wood fired oven using fresh, local ingredients. Gluten-free bases are also available. The story of Pinocchio is illustrated on the walls of this sleek restaurant which will enchant both children and adults alike. Tuesday night is the ideal time to visit as it is Pizza Night, where you can order any regular pizza and a glass of wine or a Peroni for $25.
