Attention all art lovers (or perhaps you just appreciate beautiful things!), there is an amazing art exhibition on right now in Box Hill. Whilst assisting with this exhibition, I have been lucky enough to view these beautiful creations up close. So if you are in the area, don’t forget to pop in and have a look.

There are also some tickets available for tomorrow night’s opening. If you want to attend, call Marjorie on 9831 4219. Also, if you are unable to make it to this exhibition, there will be another one next month at the Chapel on Station Gallery. I will provide more details about that exhibition next month...

Liu Xian Feng - 'Hua Tie (Pressed Flowers) Artwork'

Liu Xian Feng creates Chinese-style ‘Hua Tie’ artworks using press-dried floral material while maintaining their natural shapes, colours and patterns. ‘Hua Tie’ means ‘pressed flowers’ in Chinese. All work in this exhibition has been donated by the artist to raise funds for charities in Whitehorse, including the Aurora School for deaf and deafblind children and local Rotary clubs.

Artist demonstration 3pm, Tuesday 19 January
